How many of us live in a spacious
bungalow or luxurious villa that has sprawling area to run around and set up
lavish furniture and home decor? Many of us have to manage with the small space
around.
In Nepalese society, we make a home with hard earned money. Still, we
hardly have enough space to fit our stuffs around. No place is perfect but
it can be turned into a better one applying some ideas with storage. I
searched through the web and found some amazing storage options and smart
interior ideas in a tight and small space.
Place Multipurpose Furnitures with Storage space
Arrange seating area and Patio with enough storage space. Space below the window is the best one for a cosy seating area.
Create storage space work in the smallest of bath area. Use the corners to place stuffs.
No place for Laundry room, what about a corner in the house?
Don't have separate room to create study room and home office ? Use the corners of the house.
Get Maximum use of Nooks and corners of the house with seating area and entertaining zone
Get the items in the kitchen inside an Almirah or cupboard (even microwave) to make outer space more open.
Or, place the books and study materials in a separate cupboard for illusion of a library
Use the space below staircase for storage
Make arrangement for the floating racks and shelves to hold stuffs which will allow neat space around.
Think about smart oval kitchen when living in a very tight apartment
Evergreen Shelves and cupboards are always there to help in small space
Small living area ? Play with light colors in wall and place furnitures in bright and light colors with basic accessories around.
Door Management (works best in children's room, store room and kitchen area. Many of us have used the doors to hang clothes as well.
